The 17th Annual John L. Borom Alabama Coastal BirdFest takes place October 7-10, 2020 throughout Baldwin and Mobile counties.

The perfect birdwatching event, BirdFest regularly happens the first weekend of October as birds start to make their way along the Alabama Gulf Coast during fall migration.

The event is free and for all ages. And all nature lovers can rejoice here as opportunities abound to view dolphins, alligators, wildflowers, and more. Some of the most popular birdwatching locations include Bayou La Batre, Dauphin Island, Fort Morgan, Forever Wild Grand Bay Savanna, Gulf Shores, and more.

Workshops will take place at the 5 Rivers Delta Center, and there is a Bird & Conservation Expo that is free and is hosted at the Coastal Alabama Community College in downtown Fairhope.

The BirdFest Schedule will be made available on July 1, 2020.
